Watch My Roommates Are Thirsty! on Candy Shorts

What My Roommates Are Thirsty! is about

A new roommate walks in expecting a spare room and a quiet routine. In My Roommates Are Thirsty!, Mona Newman and Darkangel666 play the two housemates who have other plans, and the series never pretends to be about anything else. All characters are adults.

That clarity is the appeal. There is no backstory to untangle: it is a flirty chase through a shared home, played quick and with a wink. Candy’s description is a single line, so we will not invent episode plots for you. The pursuit itself is the plot, and the tension lives in how persistent the two of them get.

Candy Shorts are vertical episodes made for a phone screen, and a premise this direct suits the format: you know the stakes before the first scene ends, and nothing needs a recap. Two leads sharing the pursuit keeps the energy up too, since the newcomer never gets a quiet moment to recover. That is a design choice, not a shortcoming.

It also makes the series easy to recommend. There is no mythology to explain, only a house, three people and a very clear intention. Subtitles come in languages from English and French to Japanese, so a watch on the commute with the sound off works fine, and nothing needs installing because candy.ai plays in any phone or desktop browser.

How to start watching tonight

1. Press the Candy button on this page and Episode 1 plays with no sign-up.
2. Create a free Candy account to open Episode 2.
3. Decide after Episode 2 whether Episodes 3 to 5 are worth 12 tokens each.

Our free-viewing guide covers the account step in more detail. The only full version lives on candy.ai, so ignore clips posted on other sites.

What does it cost to finish?

The three paid episodes come to 36 tokens. A Premium month includes 100 tokens, so one month covers the ending with room to spare. Premium renews automatically until you cancel in settings, so set a reminder if one month is all you want, and the pricing page compares the plans. With five episodes and no published runtimes, plan on a single-night watch rather than a commitment.

Who it suits, and our verdict

This one is for viewers who want pure, fast flirtation with two leads and no homework. If either lead is the draw, check the profiles of Mona Newman and Darkangel666 to see what else they appear in. Pass if you want a layered story with twists: the premise is one idea, and Candy’s own description sells nothing more.

Our honest take: light on plot, heavy on momentum, and cheap to try because the first two episodes cost nothing.
