Candy Shorts Price Guide: Plans, Tokens and Cost per Series
The Candy Shorts price is two things: a Premium plan from $3.99 a month, and a token cost of 12 or 30 per paid episode. Episode 1 is free with no sign-up, and Episode 2 needs only a free account.
Updated
What is the Candy Shorts price before you pay anything?
Nothing, and for longer than you might expect. Episode 1 of a public series plays with no sign-up, and Episode 2 opens with a free account. In a typical five-episode series that is two episodes to judge for yourself, so the Candy Shorts price only starts to matter at Episode 3.
From there Candy charges in tokens rather than dollars, and the tokens come with a Premium plan. That gives you two layers of cost: the plan you choose, then the episodes you unlock with its tokens. Is Candy Shorts Premium free of charge? No, but you rarely need it for the opening pair of episodes, which makes the first layer easy to postpone.
Members-only series, the ones Candy labels Spicy, break that pattern because Premium is required from Episode 1. Thirteen of the 187 series in our guide work this way, and the Spicy shelf lists them all.
Candy AI pricing: the three Premium plans
Candy sells Premium on three terms. We checked the subscription page on October 29, 2026, and these are the figures it showed.
| Plan | Monthly rate | What you are billed |
|---|---|---|
| 12 months | $3.99 | $47.88 a year |
| 3 months | $8.99 | $26.97 every 3 months |
| 1 month | $9.99 first month, then $13.99 | Monthly |
All three carry the same 100 tokens a month, so a longer term buys a lower rate and not extra tokens. Premium also bundles unlimited text chat with AI characters, the option to create your own AI character and 18+ image and video generation, which is useful if you want more than the episodes.

Watch Episode 1 freeHow do Candy AI tokens work, and what does an episode cost?
Premium puts 100 tokens in your account every month, and each paid episode takes a fixed amount off. The price is set per series and comes in only a few sizes:
- 12 tokens per paid episode on 159 public series.
- 30 tokens per paid episode on 15 public series.
- 30 or 50 tokens per episode after Episode 2 on members-only series, where Episodes 1 and 2 cost 0 tokens once you have Premium.
Most series are short. Of the 187 we track, 170 have five episodes, five have 10, three have 15 and three have six, and a few outliers stretch much further: Yes Ma’am lists 35 episodes and My Bestie Betrayed Me lists 34. Candy does not publish episode runtimes, so we can price a series by the episode but not by the minute. The cost-to-finish figure on each series page does the multiplication for you.
What does a whole series cost to finish?
Three worked examples cover most of the catalog.
A five-episode series at 12 tokens
Couples Therapy With Margot Vey is the standard shape. Episodes 1 and 2 are free, then three paid episodes at 12 tokens each add up to 36 tokens. One month of Premium holds 100, so you could finish two series like this and still have tokens left. A third would run past the allowance.
A five-episode series at 30 tokens
My Step-Sister’s Dormitory opens with the same free pair, but its three paid episodes cost 30 tokens each, so finishing takes 90. That is almost a full month of allowance spent on one series, which is worth knowing before you start.
A members-only series
Tori’s Broken Vows runs ten episodes. With Premium the first two cost nothing and the other eight cost 30 tokens each, a total of 240 tokens: more than two months of the monthly allowance. A shorter Spicy title such as Good Boy For Stepmom, five episodes at 30 tokens after the free pair, needs 90 tokens and fits inside one month. At the top end, Blackout At My Yacht Party has ten episodes at 50 tokens each after the first two and asks for 400 tokens to finish.
How far does one month of Premium go?
Think of the month as a 100-token wallet. On a public series at 12 tokens, that wallet pays for two complete five-episode runs. On a public series at 30 tokens, it pays for one, with only a little change. A five-episode members-only series at 30 tokens also fits inside a month, while one at 50 tokens costs more than a month’s allowance and spills into the next. The ten-episode Spicy titles stretch across several.
The 15 public series that charge 30 tokens are the minority, and the 159 at 12 tokens are the everyday case. Every series page on this site shows the per-episode price among its fact chips, so the practical habit is simple: read the cost to finish, compare it with 100, and decide whether the story is worth that slice of your month. If a series is not, the free episodes already told you so at no charge.

Watch Episode 1 freeWhat shows on your card, and how do you cancel?
Candy.ai is run by EverAI Limited, a company based in Malta, and your card statement reads “EverAI” instead of the Candy name. If a charge looks unfamiliar, that is the word to look for.
Every plan renews by itself for another term of the same length, and you can switch that off in your account settings whenever you like. Do it early if you only want one stretch of Premium. The one-month plan jumps from $9.99 to $13.99 at its first renewal, and the yearly plan bills $47.88 again when the year ends. A calendar reminder costs nothing.
Which Premium plan fits which viewer?
- You want to test one series. Take the one-month plan at $9.99 for the first month. The 100 tokens cover a 12-token series twice, and you can cancel in settings before the $13.99 month begins.
- You watch a few series a quarter. The three-month plan, $8.99 a month and $26.97 up front, gives you three months of allowance, enough to finish a ten-episode members-only series with room for another.
- You expect to keep coming back. The yearly plan at $3.99 a month, billed $47.88, costs under a third of the standard monthly rate. It suits anyone who already knows they want members-only series or several binges.
Whichever you pick, tokens arrive at 100 a month on all of them, so a heavy binger should count episodes, not dollars.
Where should you start before spending a token?
Run the free route first. The free episodes guide shows how Episodes 1 and 2 work, and how to watch covers the practical side: Candy plays in any phone or desktop browser, so there is no app-store download, and you can add it to your home screen. Subtitles are included in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese.
One more thing worth deciding up front is your ceiling. Pick a number of tokens you are happy to spend on a series, say the 36 a standard run takes, and treat anything above it as a deliberate choice rather than a surprise on the bill.
Be wary of anywhere else promising full episodes for nothing. Clips re-uploaded on other sites are cut down, faked or set up to lure you toward scams, as our page on leaks and re-uploads explains. The cheapest honest route to the whole story is on Candy itself: two free episodes, then tokens. Browse all series, pick a 12-token one, and press Watch Episode 1 free.

How much is Candy Premium?
Premium comes in three terms. Twelve months works out to $3.99 a month, billed $47.88 once a year. Three months is $8.99 a month, billed $26.97 each quarter. One month costs $9.99 the first time, then $13.99 a month. Every term includes 100 tokens each month.
How many tokens do I get?
Every Premium plan includes 100 tokens a month, whatever term you pick. A paid episode on a public series takes 12 or 30 tokens, so 100 tokens finishes a 12-token, five-episode series twice with some left over. Members-only series charge 30 or 50 tokens after their free pair of episodes.
How much does an episode cost?
On public series, Episode 1 needs no sign-up and Episode 2 needs a free account. Later episodes cost 12 tokens on 159 series and 30 tokens on 15 series. Members-only series require Premium from the start, with Episodes 1 and 2 at 0 tokens and later ones at 30 or 50.
What shows on my card statement?
The statement shows EverAI. That is the company behind candy.ai, EverAI Limited, which is based in Malta, so a charge under that name is the Candy subscription and not a stranger's. If a charge carries any other name, check it with your card issuer before assuming it came from Candy.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Candy lets you cancel in your account settings whenever you like. Plans renew by themselves for another term of the same length, so cancel before the renewal date if you want to stop. The one-month plan moves from $9.99 to $13.99 at its first renewal, which catches people out.
Is the yearly plan worth it?
It is the cheapest per month at $3.99, under a third of the standard monthly rate, but you pay $47.88 up front for it. It makes sense if you expect to keep watching for most of a year or want members-only series. For a single series, start with the one-month plan instead.
