My Bestie Betrayed Me on Candy Shorts: A Long Revenge Arc

What My Bestie Betrayed Me is about

One night, one discovery, and a whole life gets rearranged. In My Bestie Betrayed Me, Emma catches her boyfriend cheating and learns the other woman is her best friend, and the story starts exactly where most breakup stories end. From there a secret rebound, a twist that raises the stakes and a social circle full of lies feed a patient campaign to come out on top. All characters are adults.

That is the appeal of the long format: betrayal on day one, and then a slow shift of power. Candy tags it Taboo and lists no cast, so the story itself is the star.

How big a commitment is My Bestie Betrayed Me?

Big, by Candy’s standards. Most Candy Shorts run five episodes, while this one has 34, which puts it among the two longest series in our guide, behind only Yes Ma’am. Candy does not publish runtimes, so we cannot translate that into hours.

Every episode after the second costs 12 tokens, and the full finish comes to 384. A Premium month includes 100 tokens, so the whole run equals about four months of allowance. Premium renews automatically, so if you go that way, cancel in settings once you are done. The pricing page lays out the plan rates.

Is My Bestie Betrayed Me free to start?

Yes. Episode 1 plays with no sign-up, and Episode 2 opens with a free Candy account. Our free-viewing guide shows where each step happens. Watch only on candy.ai, because reposts elsewhere cannot give you a complete series of this length.

How to pace a 34-episode series

A series this long is easier to enjoy with a plan. Treat Episodes 1 and 2 as a free audition, then decide in advance how many paid episodes you are willing to buy, instead of drifting from one to the next. Every paid episode costs the same 12 tokens, so budgeting is simple: your Premium month’s 100 tokens buys a fixed slice of the story, and you can stop whenever the balance runs low.

Series pages on Candy also carry a Chat with the Cast button, which opens a conversation with the characters. It is a separate feature and nothing in the plot depends on it, but it is a way to stay with the story between sessions if the arc gets its hooks into you.

Who it suits, our verdict and what to watch next

It suits viewers who like a long revenge arc with a lot of room for reversals, and who would rather settle into one story than sample many. It does not suit an evening watch: if you want a quick tease with a clear ending, a five-episode series is the better pick.

Our honest verdict: strong fit for a patient viewer, a weak one for a casual browser. Watch the free pair, then decide whether you are in for the long haul.

What to watch next

• Under the Boss is a shorter forbidden-fling story with a jealous rival, at five episodes and a 36-token finish.
• The Nun in Our Guest Room is a one-night alternative built around a seven-day deadline.
• Tori’s Broken Vows is the closest thing in length: ten episodes of secrets, with Premium needed from Episode 1.
